Straight-or-Left Combination Arrow

Optional-movement lane; drivers may continue straight through the intersection or turn left.

A combination arrow with one head pointing straight ahead and another pointing left tells you this lane permits two movements: you may go straight through the intersection or turn left. Choose your path before reaching the stop bar and signal your intent. If you don't intend to make either of those movements, change lanes well in advance.
