Rough Road

The pavement ahead is broken, rutted, or otherwise rough; reduce speed.

The road surface is in poor condition, with cracks, potholes, ruts, or washboarding. Reduce speed before the rough stretch to protect the suspension, keep cargo secure, and maintain steering control; particularly important for motorcycles and trailers.
